Coquille River - Bandon

Oregon Coast Lighthouse Photos by Forinash

The Coquille River Lighthouse is prominently located at the mouth of the Coquille River, just north of Bandon. Built in 1896 and decommissioned in 1939, its tower stands as a proud reminder of a bygone era when timber and shipping boomed. Excellent viewing is available from across the river in Old Town Bandon, with direct access through Bullards Beach State Park on the north side.
